Sapo arrived at Oak View in the fall of 2007 from our friends at Mouzer Boerboel in South Africa. He was born on the Ysterberg farm in 2001. He is a half brother to our male, Ysterberg Sheriff. They share the same mother, Rietkolk Mia. Sapo's father is the legendary Ysterberg Vegter (3), who is also the father of Ysterberg Troffel (Sheriff's sire). Sapo is a massive male with heavy bone and weighs in at 160 pounds. Despite his bulk and appearance, he is a very laid back and easy going male that gets along well with all of our females and pups. We look forward to our first litter from Sapo in 2008. Thanks to Stoffel Bloem; we are privileged to be able to add this unique/diverse genetic makeup and a true piece of boerboel history to Oak View with the Ysterberg boerboels.
Sapo's hips were assessed using the South African method and rated normal, grade 0-0.
